LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

There are two 2 programs on the cassette, each of which may be loaded
independently, but if a simulated driving test is required, load Program 1.
On a Spectrum 128 or Plus 2 you should select 48k mode before loading either
program.

When you have decided which program you wish to load, place the tape in the
cassette deck, rewind it to the beginning, then type LOAD "" and press ENTER.


HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM

There are 40 lessons, each of which deals with an important topic that may
come up in your test. Enter the number of the lesson you wish to take, then
press ENTER.

There are several types of question that you will encounter in the lessons.
If you are required to say whether a particular statement is true or false,
press T or F as appropriate.

You may be required to give the correct order for a series of actions or
events. In this case type the numbers without spaces or other characters in
between, then press ENTER when you are finished.

Sometimes you will be asked to fill in a missing word or phrase. If you are
not sure of the answer you can press ENTER, and the program will fill it in
for you. This will, of course, reduce your score if you are taking the
simulated test.

On a multiole choice question decide what you consider to be the right
answer, then enter the number alongside.

Some questions do not fall into any of these categories. In this case follow
the instructions given on the screen.

PASS YOUR DRIVING TEST will take you through almost all of the situations
that you are likely to meet on your test. However, theory is useless without
practice, and this program should be used in conjunction with a series of
lessons from a reputable driving school.
